Will Obama's Speech on Race Settle Controversy?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is urging the nation to break the racial stalemate he says the country has been stuck in for years.

Tuesday's speech in Philadelphia was Obama's most prominent airing of racial issues of his campaign and follows attention focused on explosive statements by his long-time pastor and mentor.
