  • The Lake Travis Cavaliers won their third consecutive state high school football championship on Saturday, defeating Longview, 24-17, in the Class 4A Division I title game. Lake Travis finished the season undefeated at 16-0 and extended their win streak to 46 games.

    Quarterback Michael Brewer threw for two touchdowns, while Andy Erickson ran for one touchdown and caught a pass for another score.
