U.S., Poland Reach Deal On Missile Defense Base

The conflict between Russia and Georgia over South Ossetia is rekindling fears of a belligerent Russia across the former Soviet bloc.

The United States and Poland agreed Thursday to a long-stalled deal that will put an American missile defense base on Polish soil.
