Due to the recent retirement of engineers in the Transportation Department, the Crestview traffic calming effort has suffered delays.

However, Robert Spillar, P.E., Director of the Transportation Department, has indicated that the technical review of the draft of the Crestview traffic calming plan developed by the working group is currently underway and expected to be completed in early January 2009.

Once the final plan has been approved by the working group, the open house and balloting process will continue.
