www.sxsw.com The late Samuel Mockbee was an architect, a teacher and someone who defied boundaries.

He was the force behind Auburn University’s Rural Studio , a design program that aims to both educate students and improve an impoverished Alabama community.

This desigh/build movement serves as the subject of Citizen Architect: Samuel Mockbee and the Spirit of the Rural Studio , a SXSW Documentary Feature and world premiere.
