Attorney General Michael Mukasey has many challenges in his new role, namely rebuilding credibility at the Department of Justice.
Mukasey will also have to focus on what he has inherited: allegations of politicization at DOJ, investigations into the shooting deaths of Iraqi civilians by U.S. contractor Blackwater USA, storing morale.
He has already begun filling leadership positions.
