[nndl] Surveillance systems = Big Brother?

Actually, APD officer Bartles would like to come to our meeting in
January to talk to us about surveillance systems and getting evidence
that can be shared with the police. Camera surveillance systems are
fairly cheap, and good quality pictures or video can be VERY useful in
finding and prosecuting criminals.

I would say that it is "Big Brother" if the city starts putting cameras
all over our neighborhood pointed at public spaces. I would say that it
just good sense to put cameras on your own house or business.
