_MG_0999 The man credited with spearheading and personifying the gothic rock movement, Peter Murphy, is bringing his solo show to the Emo’s outdoor stage this Thursday.

In the early ’80s when Peter Murphy was fronting the highly influential band Bauhaus,  who are generally considered the first gothic rock group ever, Murphy’s presence was such a powerful and all-consuming force that he immediately became identified as the Godfather of the goth movement.
