in keeping with the crime theme...apparently the closed head shop on north loop by Hogwild has been taken over by one of those 5-line gambling establishments. i walked by it the other night and the door popped open when a man stepped outside for a smoke. i could see at least 3 machines as i walked by. now this place gives me a very uncomfortable feeling when i walk or drive by. and of course, it might be even worse. i have heard from a couple of people in the area about possible prostitution based out of there as well.
seriously, i miss the head shop. it was very quiet, no hanging around except the employees stepping outside for a (legal) smoke. nice guys too. hope this place gets raided soon. i don't like the unsavory goings on that place attracts.
