Please pass this along to your neighbors who are not on the list and
take action yourself.

Early voting for City Council starts tomorrow. Most people don't
realize this, but your vote for City Council is much more important than
your vote for President. The City Council has much more influence over
your daily life than the President does.

So no matter who you vote for, please vote -- every City Council member
(and by extension city staff members) pays attention to the
neighborhoods that are most politically active. On average, about 8% of
Austin will vote in this election, and most of those votes will come
from just a few neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods have tremendous
political power in this city. I know we can get more than 8% of our
neighbors to vote, right?

The early-voting location in our neighborhood is the Travis County
office buliding on Airport Blvd., but there are others that may be very
close to where you work. For a complete list, scroll to the bottom of

And by the way, their endorsements seem spot-on to me.
