[nndl] Volunteers/IKE needed now - training at 1pm at 1106 Clayton Lane
Dear Neighbors,
So many of our families and friends are being impacted by IKE and the consequences of the hurricane require our community to be engaged in a long term response. With each participating a minimum of 3 hours toward this effort, together we can help make the task lighter.
There is a volunteer training at 1 pm today at 1106 Clayton Lane, Suite 270 (just north of Capital Plaza/south of 290 East at Cameron). It is useful to be trained to help w/ this and/or other disasters as they occur.
Please consider getting yourself or contacting someone you know to participate in this training, and then to volunteer at least two hours to relieve others and to keep response available 24/7.
