I, too, do not understand why a letter was not generated to the city stating the position that the neighborhood association took when asked to vote. Regardless of the particular outcome, the city should have been given a formal document stating what happened.
Jody - after we talked - I talked to Jim Mansour who was there- and I called Clark Patterson the city reviewer. He tells me that they have no letter of any sort - no notification from any neighborhood officer regarding our vote. Why was that?
It was the Planning commission that tabled it on Feb. 3rd - with the instruction Pam etal go to the NNA - and they did, and we voted. Why did we bother to vote then? If we are going to vote, then city staff should know about it.
I have gotten to be a squeaky wheel - and this last effort on my part to stop something was not worth my time - particularly because it is apparent that I am not in step with what the neighborhood wants. Either the 'hood doesn't care, or they do, and I just don't get it.
