Hi Martha,
Barter economies have a great chance to flourish, given what's happening in the world. Tom Greco has written extensively about healthy local economies. His books are all free to read online.
I have a presentation that's hands-on, includes chocolate, a game and other props to explain some of Greco's basic ideas of community exchange systems.
I would be happy to do the presentation for any interested group. I am by no means an expert, but I think I could start a good conversation. This stuff can keep people working and trading if the economy really tanks.
No cost. Maybe just pass a hat to cover my food expenses.
The one I'm giving for my communty is on Nov.1.

Dear All, At Wheatsville yesterday, a friend Beth was telling me about an accessible, useful program process pathway to engage in barter system successfully. Along w/ the grateful gardens Mosaic has begun for a number of us, it may be of interest to see a barter system could be useful in some way as well.
Beth, will you shoot back an email w/ details of the barter presentation - who, what, where, when, the cost, as such, please thanks Martha Ward
