Hi Folks,

Following up on

Here is a quick walk-through of how to get an "iCalendar feed"
from the NLW.

I think the feed is working fine. But, given the countless ways
applications can be configured, one can never be sure.

So please give it a shot and let me know about your experience.

If you are used to iCalendar feeds this is likely to be ho-hum.
But if you are not and you have access to an iCalendar
drag-n-drop application, such as

- Apple iCal,
- Google Calendar, or
- Microsoft Outlook 2007,

you're in for a treat. There's even something for paper calendar~ers.

The calendar is currently updated every 3 hours with "Austin" events
from http://upcoming.yahoo.com/

Wouldn't it be great if we could start listing events that are relevant
to our 'hoods?

The effort required is really not much more than posting a comment.
However, you will need an account with "event posting" privileges.

Since the site is in still in beta, I am making a limited number
of such accounts available. Ideally, I would like to hand them out
to the associations first and then to other community/social orgs.

Don't forget to comment on your experience
