BRUNING GREEN WORKDAY!!
When: Saturday May 16th, 8:30am-10am
What we're doing: weeding grass from the butterfly garden
What to bring: gardening gloves, water for yourself, paper sack for
collecting weeds
Where: Bruning & Evans Avenues at 52nd St.
The first 10 volunteers will receive a lovely 'It's My Park Day 2009'
t-shirt, provided we have your size. Beyond that, come to learn about
native plants and trees, and how to maintain your own garden through
the summer months.
Please forward this to Ridgetop and Northfield list serves. We need
as many hands as we can get this time, since the bermuda grass is
growing fast and will be a bigger problem in the summer if they're
not weeded out now.
