I have no real thoughts on this as I don't know what open air markets typically go for. That is why I started with finding out how much
"they" are wanting but I am sure we can talk price. That is probably the going rate. It is really not that small of a lot and it has Airport exposure. We all would like to see something besides another car lot in that location!!! The market could be used anytime and for any reason and could be open to all kinds of opportunities. I will say I have no interest in running this kind of operation as it is not my expertise, but lots of people are very good at this.

So this thought came out of conversation with Chris Johnson who has
to endure this situation for way too many months, we
were discussing
what "good" business could come into that location and she suggested
some kind of open air market for either produce or artsy things. I
called the leasing agent and they want for a starting lease of $
2,850.00 per month. The term of the lease is negotiable.
Does anyone know anything about open air markets? Does anyone know
anyone who does? Is this something the neighborhood could handle and
would even want to? That area could really be a great location for an
open air market and could be fun for the neighborhood.
Any thoughts on this? I am just throwing it out there looking for
ways for all of us to have a positive impact on the neighborhood. It
is probably no small undertaking but someone might be interested in
running with this opportunity.
