http://www.texasbookfestival.org/ I'll be driving the golf cart Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm, ferrying authors and anybody who wants to ride. Flag me down, I'll give you ride. It's the one thing I come out of hibernation for. My 11th year to volunteer, 12th year to attend (it's inception).
It's a fun time for adults and kids, with fine entertainment and food. Meet lots of famous authors, and interesting attendees, from all over the world. I even chatted with Laura Bush for about 10 minutes early on ('96?), when they were still in the Guv's Mansion. Daughter Jenna is a featured author this year. Monies go out in grants to local libraries thoughout this great State of Texas. Be well, Ray
