The information below is taken from the Mueller LIVEWIRE e-newsletter, but I'd like to add that the NOEL lighting event tomorrow, Wednesday December 3rd, will take place at Mueller's new Lake Park. From 51st, take Mueller Blvd. to the traffic roundabout and go 3/4's of the way around the circle to head east on Aldrich St., then turn right on Simond Ave. Parallel parking is available along both Aldrich & Simond.

Join us Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. to celebrate the third annual Noel Tower Lighting at Mueller. Maplewood Elementary Choir will be the featured
entertainment with guest speakers Congressman Lloyd Doggett and Councilmember Mike Martinez. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather with neighbors to enjoy refreshments and family-friendly activities as we kick off the holiday season.

The tradition of lighting the tower began in 1961 when the tower was completed and continued until the airport closed in 1999 with only brief interruption in the 1970s during the energy crisis. Catellus Development Group commissioned a new NOEL display to reestablish the tradition in 2006 and continues to expand it each year. Come join the fun!Ronald McDonald House Lights of Love
