Austin is finally moving forward on building a first-rate bike
facility, a proposed bike boulevard on Nueces street from campus to
downtown.  There is some opposition from businesses on Nueces, but I'll
let you judge for yourself if they have legitimate concerns or just
knee-jerk hysteria. All cyclists should learn about this project, and I encourage you to
get involved.  If you are not already a member of the LOBV, your local
cycling advocacy organization, I encourage you to check them out and
