How would you like to get to ask a question of
the candidates running for Mayor and City Council in this coming May 9th.
elections?  Most of our political forums often limit the questioning to the
folks running the forum.  But there is one exception, and that is the
Better Austin Today candidates forum that wants the public to be able to ask
questions and get responses from all the candidates running for our City
Council.  So if you are interested in how our City Council will be
responsive to your concerns and interests, this forum may be your best chance to
get one on one time with these candidates!

The forum is tomorrow, Sunday March 22nd and will
be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church at 4700 Grove just east of
Lamar and north of 45th. Street. The program starts at 1:00 and runs to 3:00
PM.    Attached and copied below is a flyer about the
event.  There is plenty of free parking and the event is
free and open to everyone. So bring a really good question along and make these
candidates aware of your interests.

If you are concerned about our neighborhoods,
environment, economy or social equity issues, wondering what these future City
Council member positions are on anything from why our streets are a mess to the
next round of economic development, this is your chance to share your issues and
ideas with our next Mayor and four other soon to be elected City Council
members.  So please join Better Austin Today at the People's Forum
tomorrow! And please send along this invitation to your lists of friends and
neighbors who also care about the future of our city.

Thanks
