Update on the Laura Morrison - Cid Galindo race 
for Austin City Council. Last Tuesday's paper points out that Cid Galindo:  a) failed to report $61,000 in campaign expenses b) voted for George W. Bush in 2004, although he sent out emails
to Austin Democrats saying, "I cast my ballot in the Democratic 
Presidential Primary that has captured the imagination of our nation . . . " c) Advertises himself as an "urban planner," but he has no credentials
on which to base that claim.   d) Galindo counters that he has been hired to work on one project,
a town center-style development in Pflugerville, but he claimed to be a
consultant on the project, not the land owner or the developer. However, the Community Impact newspaper lists Galindo as the developer. So the question is:  Who is Cid Galindo?


Also an earlier report said Galindo has engaged in hundreds of robo-calls,
and he has indulged in push-polling to spread phony information.
