[nndl] Financial Coaching - a community resource
Good afternoon,
My name is Katie Hazekamp, the Community Relations Associate at
Foundation Communities. Many of you may be familiar with our
preparation services at our Community Tax Centers, but I wanted to
introduce to you another great program - Financial Coaching.
The Financial Coaching program matches individuals who have
financial concerns with a trained volunteer financial coach. Clients may
receive assistance in organizing their financial life, setting up a
livable budget, saving for the future, reducing debt, fixing credit, or
in other areas, depending on the their goals. Our volunteer financial
coaches are there to give clients the guidance they need to gain
financial stability in their lives. In addition to free financial
coaching, free credit reports and are available as
well. Clients may receive up to eight free one-on-one sessions, though
the length of the program depends on their needs.
Who: Coaching is available to individuals earning
less than $25,000 annually and families earning less than $50,000
annually.
Where: All coaching sessions take place at 3036 South
1st Street, between Oltorf and Ben White.
When: Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
How do clients get involved?
Interested clients should call
x26 to make an appointment.
I've attached a flyer with this general information. Please let
me know if you'd like me to deliver flyers, or if you have any further
questions about financial coaching. I'm also available to give
presentations on this program.
Thank you in advance for helping us spread the word about
financial coaching - we know this program is needed amongst many!
Take care,
Katie Hazekamp
