This is almost unbelievable, but the Hyde Parkers have somehow managed
to strong arm city council into voting for a zoning change which bans
bicycle and pedestrian access to 50th street. Apparently having people
walking or biking through Hyde Park is to much of a burden for the
residents to bare.
