I wanted to let you know as soon as I heard. The work on Lamar did not get completed last night due to some construction issues that were not in the forecast.
The City of Austin has designated tonight from 7p.m. to 6a.m. tomorrow as the timeline to complete the work on the Lamar crossing.
There will be continued detours using Guadelupe and Canion.
Please don’t hesitate to call or email with any questions.
Thanks,
Matt Curtis

Subject: N. Lamar Closure 6pm - 6am 2/3-2/4
Folks,
I wanted to give you all a heads up on an imp or tant matter.
Capital Metro needs to upgrade the Rail track that runs across N. Lamar. To do this the road will have to be closed during construction.
W or king with the City of Austin , the City has identified a window f or Capital Metro to do this w or k. The window is 12 hours, 6pm – 6am the night of Tuesday February 3rd into the m or ning of February 4th.
The City of Austin has identified a detour route, using Canion and Guadelupe streets.
As with all projects like these, Capital Metro and the City of Austin will have proper signage to identify the detour.
Please take a look at your neighb or s who are receiving this email. If there’s anyone I should add to this “Crestview Station-area” group, let me know.
I hope you’re all doing well.
Matt
