Donklephant  Tue, 11/04/2008 - 6:30pm

Again, via Hotline…

- Obama leading men by 6% and women by 12%

- African-American turnout is 21% — unchanged from ‘04

- 90% of voters think the economy is not so good/poor — a group breaking 56-43% in Obama’s favor

- McCain leading 59-38% among white men and 57-43% among white women

More as it develops…

Rasmussen: Obama Up By 5

Donklephant  Mon, 09/29/2008 - 7:41am

Obama - 50%
McCain - 44%

McCain gains one back today, but Obama has been at 50% for 4 straight days now.

So with only 36 days left until the election, one has to wonder what will be able to shift these numbers significantly enough in McCain’s favor since the only time he has really led is after the convention and the Palin announcement.

The latest polls show Sarah Palin has boosted John McCain's campaign. McCain now leads among white women, and Palin is more popular among men than among women.

Palin will have her first interview with a network anchor Thursday, and the campaign and McCain himself are making sure she's prepared.

Rasmussen: Obama Up By 4, 4

Donklephant  Sat, 08/30/2008 - 10:06am

With leaners
McCain - 49%
Obama - 45%

Without leaners
Obama - 47%
McCain - 43%

The numbers stay steady today, so perhaps the Palin announcement has had the desired effect of stopping any additional bounce for Obama.

Obama’s Stock Drops Among White Women

Donklephant  Fri, 05/30/2008 - 1:13pm

Gee…I wonder why…

The Pew polls states specifically that Obama’s problems have more to do with personal reasons than politics, and in recent weeks Hillary has made this campaign ALL about how she’s getting cheated because of sexism in the media, etc.

So who else are these white women going to point their finger at?
