You know what I'm talking about; the "OMG! All these people moving downtown are complaining about live music!" crap.

Today's Statesman (Feb. 18) has an interesting article on the McMansion ordinance's impact.

A couple of quick reactions.  First, the article implies that the McMansion ordinance has not affected property values:

On Thursday night, City Council began considering the neighborhood opt-in/opt-out applications for vertical mixed-use zoning.

First up: South Manchaca, Bouldin Creek, and Greater South River City (Travis Heights and the St. Edwards area).
