Travis County agreed Tuesday to pay $4,821 for 64 outstanding parking tickets that employees incurred in the City of Austin, but it won’t just come from the county pocketbooks.

Travis County has amassed 126 unpaid city parking tickets that now total $10,292.50, according to city records.

Austin is expected to see a rise in flu cases starting in January, so doctors are urging everyone to get their shots early.
