One of the all-time great American singer-songwriters, Lyle Lovett is currently on tour with his Large Band supporting his most recent album, Natural Forces.

For nearly three decades, Lovett has defined the modern Texas singer-songwriter. Fusing elements of the blues, country, folk, gospel and jazz, four-time Grammy winner Lovett has created his own style of Americana, defying convention and breaking down barriers along the way.

Details: Director Margaret Brown’s haunting and lyrical film examines the life and art of the ultimate songwriter’s songwriter, Townes Van Zandt, who had a profound impact on generations of musicians from Bob Dylan to Nora Jones.

Her film combines interviews with friends and family with never seen footage of Townes Van Zandt, from rare performance and interview footage to intimate portraits shot in Van Zandt’s home throughout the years.
