Tibetans in China Recount Unrest in Hometowns

The Chinese government announced this week that it had arrested more people related to the recent protests in Tibet.

But much of the conflict has been centered in remote mountainous areas that are ethnically Tibetan surrounding Tibet proper.

The people of this area are known for their fiercely independent ways, and for leading the failed uprising against Beijing in 1959.
