NPD Group on Tuesday announced its second quarter handset sales tally and 28 million units were shipped to consumers, down 13 percent from a year ago.

According to NPD, second quarter handset revenue was $2.4 billion, down 2 percent from a year ago.



 

Amazon: Still trailing eBay in third party sales but…

If Amazon cut its fees and commission rates for third party sellers it could become a much more viable threat to eBay.

In an analyst note, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster estimated that Amazon has sold $6 billion in goods by third parties in the last 12 months.



 

AT&T’s quarter hits mark; Wireless churn falls; iPhone 3G sell...

AT&T on Wednesday reported second quarter earnings of $3.8 billion, or 63 cents a share, on revenue of $30.9 billion.

Adjusted earnings were 76 cents a share, a tally that met Wall Street estimates. In the second quarter a year ago, AT&T reported net income of $2.9 billion, or 47 cents a share.

Another red state super-del comes out for Obama this afternoon, the campaign announces: Audra Ostergard, Associate Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party.

This makes the tally for today Obama - 2, Hillary - 1.

As stated before, she needs this to be the other way around.
