Komen Austin's Annual 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk Race for the Cure to raise funds to benefit the Austin Affiliate of Susan G.

Komen for the Cure whose mission is: to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties.

The Austin Chocolate Festival benefits Susan G. Komen For the Cure. The Annual Chocolate Festival has already raised over $5,000 for the Austin Affiliate of Susan G.

Komen. With the support of the community and small businesses we hope to raise at least twice that at the 4th Annual Austin Chocolate Festival in 2009.

There are several ways you can contribute besides attending the festival. We have sponsorship and volunteer opportunities available.

The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing Family Wellness Center has received a $83,220 grant from the Austin Affiliate of the Susan G.
