Summer Kids' Camp: SKY HIGH

Planning Ahead, Austin  Mon, 07/13/2009 - 5:11pm

Most teenagers cringe at the thought of meeting their parents' high expectations -- good grades, well-behaved friends, and a plan for the future -- and none more so than Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano), the son of legendary superheroes Commander (Kurt Russell) and Jetstream (Kelly Preston).

This clever Disney comedy follows Will from his first day as star student at Sky High, an elite school for the children of superheroes.

The only problem is that Will apparently has no special powers, and he can't let his parents find out!

Summer Kids Camp: THE IRON GIANT (Alamo Village)

Planning Ahead, Austin  Sun, 06/14/2009 - 10:57am

In October of 1957, America had plenty to be worried about. Rock 'n' roll. Television. The bomb. And on the fourth day of that month, the Soviets successfully launched the first man-made satellite, Sputnik, into orbit.

The space race had officially begun. The Cold War just got colder. People were unsure about their neighbors, even questioning their friends.

In the small town of Rockwell, Maine, Annie Hughes (voice of JENNIFER ANISTON) is just worried about putting supper on the table for herself and her nine-year-old son, Hogarth (voice of ELI MARIENTHAL).

Summer Kids' Camp: KUNG FU PANDA (Alamo South Lamar)

Planning Ahead, Austin  Sun, 06/14/2009 - 10:57am

Lovable spazz Jack Black leads an all-star cast as Po the Panda in this animated Kung-Fu feature from DreamWorks.

When war threatens the Valley of Peace, the Kung-Fu masters of the forest must rise to face their enemy.

Grand Master Shifu (a Red Panda voiced by Dustin Hoffman!), Master Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Master Viper (Lucy Liu), Master Monkey (Jackie Chan!), Master Crane (David Cross) and Master Mantis (Seth Rogen) must join forces to train the chosen Po to fulfill the destiny as the Master Panda!
