Some welcome news for the White House, and the numbers could be even higher.
First, from the Wall Street Journal:
The Congressional Budget Office late Monday said it estimates that the federal stimulus package sustained between 600,000 and 1.6 million jobs in the third quarter, and raised gross domestic product by 1.2 to 3.2 percentage points higher than it would have been without the program.

The administration’s claim of nearly 640,000 jobs created or “saved” by the $787 billion stimulus bill continues to be savaged by traditional media outlets for inaccuracies.

Rising unemployment has Americans worried. Many are concerned that the economy isn't getting any better. And in Congress, the debate over the $787 billion stimulus package has resurfaced.
Rep. Eric Cantor, the Republican whip from Virginia, talks with Steve Inskeep about the economy. He says investments have to be made in small businesses, so in turn, those businesses will create jobs.

Whenever Warren talks, people listen, but my gut tells me that a second stimulus is still politically impossible right now.
Especially since nearly 90% of the original $787B is left to spend (which Dems are bemoaning)

Talked about this recently when Biden admitted that there might be need for a second stimulus package at some point, but that the administration wanted to see how the first round would suss out.
Still, looks like Dems need to get their stories straight because they aren’t saying the same things.
