Fresh Plus Grocery is opening a store on Anderson Lane at the location recently vacated by Sprouts Farmers Market, formerly Sun Harvest.

According to this article in today's Statesman, the new store may be opening as soon as February 1....

Sprouts Farmers Market announced today that it is closing three stores in Austin. One of the stores is the one Anderson, formerly Sun Harvest.

Four recent grads will form a panel on their Austin positions and how tech helped them land their spots and the challenges it presents.

The assault and robbery that we reported on last week has new developments: The Statesman reports that tip from the public (that's you!) helped police identify Steven Lawrence Keller as the alleged attacker, and he was arrested on Saturday on unrelated charges, but quickly charged for the robbery and assault as well.

Cyclist Seriously Injured in Central Austin Accident This Morning This morning around 9am, a bicyclist was struck by a driver on 45th Street near Burnet Road.

The 45-year-old cyclist was bleeding and unconscious after being hit by the vehicle, and responders took him to UMC Brackenridge.

The driver remained on the scene after the accident to speak to investigators.

Wildfires Raged All Weekend in West Texas The Statesman reports that over 50 homes have been destroyed by the fires in the Fort Davis area, but no deaths or injuries have been reported.

According to the Texas Forestry Service, over 100,000 acres burned due to 24 fires over the weekend.
