Austin Art In Public Places

The Public Art Crawl tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. will give people a sneak peek into what artists in Austin are cooking up for city streets.

Studios will open and artists will be available to talk about their projects. At the same time, Mayor Lee Leffingwell and his colleagues have found a way to save the art piece "Prelude" from going into storage.

Today it is being removed from Republic Square Park and being replaced at University Medical Center Brackenridge hospital.
