AP - Texas Gov. Rick Perry raised more than $17 million in his first seven weeks running for president, his campaign announced Wednesday, an impressive total that helps cement his status as the top alternative to Mitt Romney and counter the perception that his campaign his struggling.

It's been seven weeks since the gushing well in the Gulf of Mexico began to spew oil. BP has promised to pay all legitimate claims.

But some people are very frustrated with BP's claims process. They say it is very slow.
