Senate Finance Committee Votes on Texas HIV Medication Program's Fate Tomorrow The Texas HIV Medication Program supports over 14,000 low-income Texans who rely on them for affordable medications that help prevent HIV from resulting in AIDS.

The program currently provides 40 different medications in more than 80 strengths and formulations to their thousands of patients.

Journalist Ezra Klein has come out in favor of the proposition that a federal health insurance mandate is constitutional, but the question remains a thorny legal problem.

If a reform bill is passed with an individual mandate, will it pass constitutional muster? The answer isn’t quite as clear as Klein would have us believe.

President Obama went to Capitol Hill to reinvigorate the push for a health care makeover. He seems to have succeeded, at least with Democrats — including moderates.

The Senate Finance Committee has yet to unveil its proposal to overhaul health care, but chairman Max Baucus did say the president's speech "breathed new life" into what they are doing.
