Jindal 2012 In Full Swing

Donklephant  Sun, 11/30/2008 - 11:57am

A Washington Post article marks somewhat of an unofficial launch to the Jindal buzz, although we’ve been talking about this since May on Donklephant.

Chris Buckley: I’m With Obama

Donklephant  Fri, 10/10/2008 - 10:52pm

Would the late William F.

Buckley approve of his son throwing his support behind the most liberal Senator EVER!!!?

Something tells me the answer to that would be: possibly.

Why?

Because I think this has less to do with Obama and more to do with how far McCain has fallen.

McCain’s Plan To Save Palin’s Image? Right-Wing Radio

Donklephant  Mon, 09/29/2008 - 5:39pm

I’m not joking…

Palin heads to McCain’s cabin in Arizona today to prepare for her Thursday debate, and while she’s there she’ll do a round of conservative talk radio interviews.

Donklephant  Wed, 07/16/2008 - 12:46pm

That is not an exact quote. More like an interpretation of the Monday MSNBC Countdown show.

Prosecution vs. Defense: Witty Banter

Austin Criminal Defense Lawyer  Tue, 07/15/2008 - 12:40am

So Western Justice’s quote of the week – or is that quote of the month? – is currently:

“In my courtroom, day after day, I have seen the dregs of the community—and some of their clients, too."

I’ll admit it’s a bit amusing.

Everyone loves a good lawyer joke. Seems to be coming out of the mouth of a black robe, so I tried to do a little investigating and figure out where the quote came from.

Hillary for VEEP?

Donklephant  Wed, 05/21/2008 - 1:02pm

Over at VicePresidents.com, we don’t think Hillary will really humble herself to play second fiddle to Obama… unless, of course, Bill sees her eventual ascension to the presidency as inevitable and thereby demands it.

She’d have a much more powerful post as head of the Senate or another cabinet post, but perhaps the days of a VEEP-turned-President will return again.

Bill Clinton Was On Rush Limbaugh’s Show The Day Before TX Pri...

Donklephant  Mon, 03/10/2008 - 11:44am

I missed it (obviously), but here are the details

Apparently Rush had a guest host that day because he was “sick.” Heh, okay…

Folks, this is an ex-President!

That is absolutely nuts! But he apparently wanted to get all those ditto heads to come vote for Hillary so she could stay in the race.

Limbaugh: Obama/Clinton Ticket Doesn’t Have a Prayer

Donklephant  Thu, 03/06/2008 - 1:05pm

Rush Limbaugh has said the so-called dream ticket featuring Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton doesn’t stand a chance because it would include both an African American and a woman.

Let’s set aside the gut instinct to call Limbaugh a class A bigot and ask, does he have a point? America might be ready for a black president and it might be ready for a woman president but is it ready for a ticket completely absent of a white male?

Limbaugh appeals to Apple's Jobs for help

CNET Tech blog  Wed, 02/13/2008 - 1:02pm

Rush Limbaugh's radio show probably isn't streamed to that many desks at Apple headquarters, but El Rushbo is thinking about asking El Jobso for a little tech support.

Conservatives Bristle at McCain Nomination

NPR Programs: Morning Edition  Thu, 02/07/2008 - 6:31am

Arizona Sen. John McCain has emerged as the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, and that's cause for concern for many conservatives.

McCain says he can win over those anxious conservatives by the November election, but some of the most prominent and outspoken in the party, such as Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh, say otherwise.
