Fifth graders at the University of Texas Elementary School will receive a new pair of athletic shoes for the third straight year from RunTex, the nation's largest store devoted to running, on Friday, May 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the school.

Camp Mabry is inviting you to run their base! On 11/11 Texas Military Forces and Runtex will be hosting a 5k, 10k, and family mile on the base.

The entire run and post event party will be held on base. Camp Mabry is going to display some of their amazing 'static displays.' There will be tanks, helicopters, climbing walls, and many other activities for you to check out after your run.

The camp will also open their amazing muesem for you to tour as well.

Saturdays in Austin are sometimes lazy recovery days, and sometimes jam-packed adventure days.

OK, who am I kidding, they’re always adventurous, sometimes I just choose to laze about instead of partaking.
