Police in LA moved in overnight at the camp of Occupy protesters. The raid began two days after protesters were told to leave.

Police took also took similar action in Philadelphia.

Occupy Austin protesters take Austin to federal court Two Occupy Austin protesters are taking the city of Austin to federal court, charging “unlawful prior restraint” of protected speech through the city’s use of Criminal Trespass Notices to ban some Occupiers from City Hall premises for up to one year.

Police in riot gear were deployed in lower Manhattan Thursday morning as hundreds of demonstrators marched with the aim of shutting down Wall Street.

Protesters Evicted While New York Park Is Cleaned

Police temporarily cleared Zuccotti Park early Tuesday so that sanitation crews could clean the site Occupy Wall Street protesters have inhabited for two months.

About 70 protesters were arrested including some who chained themselves together.
