Pakistan Condemns Raid, Blames U.S. Troops

The government in Pakistan has condemned an attack on a remote village near the border with Afghanistan. Pakistani officials say Wednesday's raid was led by U.S. troops.

However, U.S. officials have not officially commented.

Northwest Pakistan Peace Deal in the Works

Pakistani officials are trying to arrange a peace deal with tribal elders in northwest Pakistan. Previous attempts have failed, but there is optimism this time because a Pashtun nationalist party, the ANP, is involved in the negotiations.

Video Site YouTube Blocked in Pakistan

Pakistani officials banned access to the video-sharing site YouTube on Sunday, telling Internet service providers to block it because of videos the government deemed offensive to Islam.

The video clip service is one of the most widely viewed sites by teens, even in Pakistan.
