Yahoo is in talks to carry search ads from its biggest rival, Google, The Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site Wednesday.

The move is "part of a test that is designed to evaluate the revenue potential of a broader outsourcing arrangement," the Journal reported, promising further details later.
