AP - Amid daily bipartisan sniping over high gas prices, Democrats and Republicans appear to agree on at least one thing: With oil over $120 a barrel, President Bush ought to stop buying crude for the government emergency reserve.



 

Chavez Halts Oil Shipments to Exxon Mobil

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is refusing to ship oil to Exxon Mobil following a lawsuit by the oil company.

Exxon and Venezuela have been fighting over the country's move to nationalize a large oil project. Exxon sued, and the court froze $12 billion worth of Venezuela's overseas assets.

Chavez has threatened to stop all U.S. oil shipments.
