A high-ranking U.S. diplomat will attend talks with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator this weekend in Switzerland.
There won't be a private meeting between the two, nor will there be any negotiations on the nuclear issue. Still, it's the highest level contact between the United States and Iran since 1979.
