Violet Crown Spring Festival - May 8th

The Violet Crown Community Works will be holding their Spring Festival on May 8, 11-6pm, in Brentwood Park.

We are activley seeking craft/art vendors. All items must be handcrafted by the exhibitor-no resale. We are going to also put emphasis on health care.

If you are a local health care provider (elder care, yoga, massage etc) please contact me for further booth info.

A HISTORIC DAY FOR AUSTIN!!!

You may have heard the good news that the City Council voted 7-0 to adopt the Implementation Plan recommendations including the four items approved by the Public Health and Human Services committee.   These four additional items were needed to help move Austin to becoming a NO KILL community.

Brentwood PTA's Used Book Sale

The Brentwood PTA's Used Book Sale is open to the community Thursday and Friday, March 11th and 12th!

We have children's books:
board books
picture books
early readers
chapter books
teen books

We have great adult fiction and non-fiction!

We had a donation from an estate, and we have old books - 1902, 1930's, 40's, 50's and up. We even have 2 vintage language courses on records in mint condition (French and German).

There are CD's, DVDs, videos, and books on CD.

Prices on almost all things range from $0.25 - $1.00.
