NBC: Obama Up In NV, CO, VA, FL, PA. McCain Up In MO, NC, OH.

Donklephant  Sun, 11/02/2008 - 10:28am

And actually, just to give you a preview of my election night prediction…this is pretty close to what I’m thinking.

First, the Obama leads…

Florida: Obama +2
Obama: 47%
McCain: 45%

Virginia: Obama +3
Obama: 47%
McCain: 44%

Pennsylvania: Obama +4
Obama: 47%
McCain: 43%

Nevada: Obama +4
Obama: 47%
McCain: 43%

Rasmussen: CO, FL, MO, OH, VA

Donklephant  Mon, 10/13/2008 - 6:39pm

Not much change from last week to this week, so the story is essentially that Obama’s numbers are holding steady in these key battleground states with 21 days left.

Florida
Obama 51, McCain 46

Week ago: Obama 52, McCain 45)

IBM aims $400 million at cloud computing

CNET Tech blog  Fri, 08/01/2008 - 9:41am

Big Blue is building data centers in North Carolina and Japan to support new services and, the company says, become a little more "green."

John Edwards Voted For Obama

Donklephant  Mon, 05/12/2008 - 10:10am

It’s at about :30 seconds in. Edwards was asked if he’ll be able to endorse the person he voted for in North Carolina.

Edwards said, with a big grin on this face, “I’d say highly likely, yes.”

I think that’s pretty obvious.

99% North Carolina: Obama 57%, Hillary 42%

Donklephant  Tue, 05/06/2008 - 11:32pm

As I predicted earlier, he’s going to win by 15%.

Here’s the raw, and you can see I rounded these numbers up.
Obama - 888,979 - 56.7%
Clinton - 655,482 - 41.8%
No Pref- 22,626 - 1%

Total Vote - 1,567,087

I think he beat nearly all the pollsters projections, although Zogby was the closest that I can see.

78% North Carolina: Obama 56%, Clinton 42%

Donklephant  Tue, 05/06/2008 - 9:28pm

These numbers from MSNBC:

Obama - 725,161 - 56%
Clinton - 543,476 - 42%

These numbers have been fairly steady for the past hour.

By the way, Zogby predicted it would be a 14% win.

He also thought Obama would win by 2% in Indiana.

We shall see…

Hillary Leads By 4% With 74% Reporting In Indiana

Donklephant  Tue, 05/06/2008 - 8:45pm

Wow.

Clinton - 481,229 - 52%
Obama - 443,591 - 48%

Who would have thunk it?

However, Chuck Todd just said on MSNBC that the Obama campaign doesn’t think they took it.

By their calculations, they’re about 15,000 votes too short.

But if those numbers hold up, this is already a BIG story because Obama is keeping Indiana tight and blowing her out in North Carolina.

North Carolina Already At 8% Turnout

Donklephant  Sun, 05/04/2008 - 11:03pm

Early voting and mail in has produced 470,878 votes or 50% of the turnout from 2004, which saw 16% of the voting base come out to join in the fun.

Granted, it wasn’t competitive then, but it’s still impressive that early voting this year is so avid.

What’s even more interesting is that 326,090 Democrats voted in their primary, along with 60,959 Unaffiliated voters for a total of 387,049.

Only 73,164 Republicans voted in their primary, along with 9,639 Unaffiliated voters for a total of 82,803.
