With Saturday’s Wu-Tang Clan show looking like the last gasp for great touring acts before the music scene quiets down for a bit during the holiday season, now is as good a time as any to turn our eyes to Free Week, the annual no-budget celebration of local music that takes over Red River Street for the first week of January.

Free Week listings have been gradually going up over the last couple of weeks, so let’s take a look at what’s on offer in 2011.
