Mike Huckabee has a new book coming out, a weekly talk show on Fox and is an in-demand speaker.

But apparently he’s got some spare time.

Even if John McCain pulls out a win, Republicans will almost certainly be crippled in Congress. But Soren Dayton cautions his fellow Republicans not to deflect the blame:

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin electrified the crowd Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention. The vice presidential nominee attacked Barack Obama, praised John McCain and pushed back against criticism that she is too inexperienced to be on the ticket.

Delegates also heard from former presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Rudolph Giuliani.

Romney lacks trust on issues such as outlawing abortion and opposing same-sex marriage and because he is a Mormon.

Opposition is particularly powerful among those who supported former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in the Republican presidential primaries earlier this year.

McCain is better than that ad, and he shouldn’t have made it. What’s more, I think he knows this.

But just in case he doesn’t, the media is reminding him…
