The president of the Crestview Neighborhood Association, Jonathan Locklin, is requesting input on the items listed below.

The intention is for those residents who want to reply to e-mail him at jslpublic [at] gmail [dot] com or send a letter to our post office box (CNA, P.O.

Box 9595, Austin, TX 78766). The response format would be open text/paragraph. We would review the opinions in the executive committee meetings as they come in.

The Old Alligator Grill This is a New Orleans-style bar and grill. It’s a large place with plenty of seating, several TVs for watching sports (including one massive projector screen), and a stage where bands play from time to time.

They have classic arcade games and pool. The outdoor seating draws many people who come to eat or drink under the shade of an enormous Live Oak.

They don’t have any beers on draft, but they do have a vast selection of wine and bottled beer, plus a full liquor bar.

Crestview and Allandale have been working together on 2 fronts now.

1) Crestview is supporting Allandale's lawsuit to fight big box at northcross with donations to their lawsuit fund.

2) Crestview is supporting Allandale's attempt to stop a developer from changing the agreed to VMU development options located at Burnet Road and North Loop (Antique Mall area) with a signed letter of support.

At the last Crestview neighborhood association meeting, we heard from Sonya Lopez, pricipal planner for the Transit Oriented Development (TOD).

She presented TOD information specific to the Crestview neighborhood and listened to and documented concerns from Crestview residents about TOD.
