The project Echocentrics is, as far as we know, the latest band created by Adrian Quesada, a man who also keeps very busy with Ocote Soul Sounds (recent and successful Kickstarter-ers), Grupo Fantasma, and many more.

For two years, the website Kickstarter has helped artists, musicians and filmmakers fund projects, encouraging lots of people to make small donations.

But recently, entrepreneurs have been launching new products on the site, something the company's founders never imagined.

Our friends at Public School reminded us that the Kickstarter account leveraged earlier to help get Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Company to come speak in Austin paid off, and the big guy will be at Lewis Carnegie on Thursday evening.
